Altera
A post-illustration project deconstructing visual narratives in the era of AI image-making.
Material processes and intentional representation give way to experimental concepts and procedures that emphasize ambiguity over concrete meaning.
The artist’s role is to create spaces in which visual signifiers accumulate in new and surprising ways. The onlooker is empowered to create their own, original interpretations – and the notion of story is unshackled from the individual author, becoming plural, unpredictable, and stochastic in nature.
